Do you need some community hours or interested in spending some fun hours on a farm with goats, cows, horse, donkeys, alpacas, a llama, pigs, hens, ducks, bunnies, mini-ponies and a goose?

Like flower, vegetable and herb gardening?

Like to work on farm projects?

Not afraid to get dirty?

Perfect for Internship, Vet. and Ag. students as well as retired individuals! Also great for Community Service hours!

Team Building projects can be designed to support group activities which support the farm!

Just some of our duties on the farm:

Office Administration support

Hen House/Coop duty, we have eight of them! This includes Egg Collection and packaging!

Grooming the Equine!

Henny Penny Assisted Living house!

Feeding the animals!

Water Patrol!

   Barn and Stable cleaning!

  Office Administration!

  Garden Maintenance!

   Animal companionship!



Let us know what day of the week you can volunteer. 

This educational farm is open 7-days a week including holidays.

Volunteer shifts are scheduled at a minimum of 4-hours.

 Farm Policies will be reviewed and explained.

Smoking is prohibited.  Minimum age is 18 yrs. 

This farm is environmentally friendly.

Cell phone use is not permitted on property and must be kept in your vehicle along with all personal items.

All of our volunteers have chosen to participate on the program as it mirrors their own commitments to animals, nature and a healthy way of life.

Our volunteers are health-minded, respectful and honor the environment and fellow team members. 


Basic application submission and character background check is understood.

This farm is located just minutes north of Jacksonville.

          Volunteer Leadership Program


In addition to standard volunteer benefits and for your support for our Foundation in our Greenhouse, Raised Beds and Animal care, active volunteers who work a minimum of 8 hours per week will serve as our Intern Leads.  This can be serving two 4-hr. shifts a week or one 8hr. day. You will not only learn new skills but receive the additional take-home benefits:

Free dozen of our free-range eggs or 1/2 gallon of our cow milk to our animal Intern leads each week. (one per family)

Greenhouse and raised bed Intern Leads will take home a portion of what they grow!
